120605 - Yeti Camp
Looking for a winter adventure during break, come to Alpine Hills! Yeti Campers will learn the basics of snowboarding, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing. To add to the adventure, we will test our winter survival skills, watch some great snowboard demonstrations, and of course spend time on the tubing hill! (Activities may change based on weather conditions.) EXTENDED CARE OPTION: Drop your camper off between 7:30 and 8:30 am, and/or pick up between 4:30 and 5:30 pm. Additional fee of $21 per session.

130300 - Junior Golf Academy
The junior academy is a national program with a collaborative framework based on research and best practices from PGA professionals. The junior golf academy's main focus is to coordinate a fun, systematic approach to develop long term player development that will continue the play of golf socially or competitively. Participants will be instructed in five areas that will help youth learn, develop, and practice the skills to become a better golfer and enjoy the sport of golf. The five areas are: golf skills, sportsmanship, etiquette and rules, real on-course experiences, and golf physical assessments. Meet at Alpine Hills Golf Course. Check-in begins 15 minutes before class. All classes will begin at the designated time.

141104 - Jr. NBA Basketball League
Dreams of becoming a future NBA basketball starts right here in the Rockford Park Districts Jr. NBA Basketball League!!! Players must commit to one 60 minute practice on Monday evenings (between 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.) & one 40 minute game on Saturday mornings (between 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.). This is a co-ed league and we promote equal playing time for all of our participants. All of our participants will play in 2- in-house tournaments, receive a replica NBA uniform, award, and certificate!
NOTE:
*Mandatory Jr. NBA Draft and Parent Meeting will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. (check-in will start at 5:15 p.m.) at the UW Health Sports Factory. Participants should come dressed to work out!
*Please confirm your child's uniform size. If you seleceted the wrong size, you will be responsible for the replacement. For example: if you ordered a Youth Small instead of an Adult Small.
*In case of a snow day on a game day, a make-up game day will be scheduled for Monday, December 4th, 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.
*Basketball Rim and Basketball Size Information: - Rookies; 8ft Rim Height and Jr. Size Basketball- Pros: 10ft Height and 28.5 Basketball- All-Stars: 10ft. Height and 28.5 Basketball.
Tournament Dates:
• Jr. NBA Tip-Off Jamboree Saturday, October 27, 2018 (each team will play two games)
• Thanksgiving Tournament Saturday, November 24, 2018 (guaranteed two games or more)
